Office 365

Office 365 is a complete business productivity software package from Microsoft and available exclusively through T-Suite. Microsoft Office 365 provides a flexible suite catering specially to the business needs of professionals and small businesses. This suite will help make it easier for you and your staff to work from almost anywhere with an internet connection, on a range of compatible devices, while simply and securely collaborating with others inside and outside of your business. From less than $10.00 per user per month, Office 365 eliminates the upfront expense of purchasing software and can be changed monthly depending on your business' individual needs.



Software as a Service (SaaS)

SaaS is where a business application such as Microsoft Exchange is delivered to each user in the business on a flat fee per month basis and without the need to purchase an Exchange license upfront or maintain an Exchange server in house. The result? Lower total cost of ownership and a reduction in the complexity and processing power required in your local server. For business services such as those provided under the Office 365 programme there are significant reductions in the total cost of ownership and higher levels of inbuilt security against viruses and spam.

Given the availability and cost of bandwidth in Australia we will often recommend hybrid cloud solutions – where some of your business applications are provided as SaaS and some of your business applications are located within on-site servers. Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)

IaaS is where you rent capacity and processing power from virtual servers located within a data centre. Depending on your needs, you can buy a regular amount of server performance and server capacity or you can rent just as much as you need and pay by the hour depending on the amount of performance and capacity used.

The obvious benefits of using IaaS are that you no longer need to manage and plan the capital expenditure budget of your future server purchases – all costs are recurring operating expenditure. This provides increased agility in your ability to cope with changes in server demands, increased flexibility to increase storage and computing capacity at short notice, increased security options to ensure business continuity and increased ability to reshape server costs if you need to cut your budget.
